Are you interested in learning how to play chess? Or do you already know how to play? Are you looking for other chess players? Come join The Beacon Heights Chess Club! The BH Chess club is run by volunteer parents and chess coaches. The club will meet in the library from 3:20pm - 4:20pm on Tuesdays from November through March.
The club and coaches are funded by parent donations, and the majority of the donations will be used towards paying the coaches. We anticipate chess club donations being approximately $20 per child for the school year.

The Green Team meets one Wednesday a month after school. Students learn and practice how to be responsible stewards of the Earth. They participate in hands-on activities and are leaders teaching the school community about sustainability. Team members participate in maintaining the school garden and help compost from our lunchroom.
