Battle of the Books 25-26

If you have a student in 4th- 6th grades, please have them consider participating in the school's Battle of the Books. The purpose of the program is to encourage students to read, read broadly, and develop a community of readers by students across the district reading the same books. At Beacon Heights, students who read at least 5 books from our Battle of the Books list by the end of January can come to the Battle of the Books party in the library. Students answer questions about the books and the 4 students who do the best will represent our school at the District Battle of the Books in March. All the books on our battle list are books that were published recently, are highly reviewed, are a variety of genres, and are varying reading levels. Students can check the books out from the library or access them on SORA. Students can read the book or listen to the book- many of the books are available as audiobooks in SORA. Happy Reading!
