Beacon Heights Morning Choir

Registration for the morning choir at Beacon Heights Elementary has begun! Emily Mercado, Assistant Professor of Choral Music Education at the University of Utah, will lead the choir along with undergraduate choral music education majors. The choir meets on Tuesday mornings from 7:55am to 8:40am from January 16th to April 11th (no meetings on March 5th and April 2nd). There is no charge to participate. The final choir concert will take place in Thompson Recital Hall on Thursday, April 11th at the University of Utah at 7:30pm (students will be called at 6:45pm). Parents and guardians will be responsible for transportation to and from the concert. They are limiting the choir to 35 students. They will take students on a first-come/first-serve basis from oldest to youngest and will open registration on the following days for the following grades: 6^th grade: November 21, 5^th grade: November 28th, 4^th grade: December 5th, 3^rd grade: December 12th.  Registration links will be included in future newsletters.
